Build Your Own Pixel Art With Simbrix

I still remember the moment that I started this journey. I was watching my kids play with their fusion beads – completely absorbed in making their designs. But then, one small bump or a tricky bit of ironing, and their creation was gone. Just like that – hours of fun turned into tears. As a dad, that really got to me. I thought, “There has to be a better way for them and me too”. 

Because I’m dyslexic, I tend to see things differently – problems look like puzzles that can be solved. So that got me thinking – actually for about 9 months until I could see the design for the new brick, in 3D in my mind, in full colour until one day sitting a seminar that was no very interesting, I sketched the design and I thought it might actually work. That started the experimenting, fiddling with shapes, and testing ideas until something connected. That’s how Simbrix was born – a new kind of bead that connects together without the need for a pegboard, glue or ironing, stays strong, and lets kids (and grown-ups!) build without fear of their creations falling apart.
